The wait is almost over as Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is about to unleash all its glory for excited fans and here we have something special with us, the Collector’s Edition with almighty Sephiroth in it.
Like a Phoenix rebirth from the ashes, this Collector’s Edition of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth can be described as regal, especially with the unfiltered coolness of the humongous Sephiroth statue.
Without further ado, let’s unbundle the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Collector’s Edition and unveil the sheer awesomeness of its content.
Worship the One-Winged Angel
Let’s get it started with the main highlight of the Collector’s Edition, the reason why you would want it – the almighty and always fabulous Sephiroth. The 19-inch figure depicts the main antagonist in all his glory, showcasing his dark luster wing as he poses on top of a pillar while wielding his overly long katana.
It is worth noting that the feathery wing is detachable, but why would you turn a one-winged angel into a no-winged angel, let the man keep his only wing, will you?
This glorious statue is also by Static Arts, which will display nicely with other Final Fantasy figures if you own them.
Zack?!
Of course, the collection would be incomplete without the game itself and the case comes with a whopping two discs for its staggering 150GB file size when it launches for the PlayStation 5.
The package also comes with a SteelBook case to store your beautiful games in, featuring an emotional illustration in the front that shows the back of Crisis Core protagonist Zack Fair carrying an injured Cloud. Meanwhile, the back has a sweet vector picture of Cloud Strife’s iconic oversized weapon, the Buster Sword.
The Art of Rebirth
It does not end there because the collection also comes with a small yet content-rich art book with 120 pages of 3D renders and concept art of characters, monsters, weapons, locations, and more. If you are wondering, yes, there is concept art for the various costumes for Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, and the rest of the crew, including a certain set of attires from Costa del Sol.
Not only that, time to get jamming because the collection will also include a mini soundtrack CD with 12 selected music from the game, featuring overworld exploration music, battle tracks, and more.
More Goodies
There’s more because a fancy huge tote bag with Cait Sith and the game’s logo on it also comes with the physical edition of the game.
Additionally, there is also a special red cup holder with Chocobo art on it for those who pre-ordered the physical edition of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Note that no cup is included.
All in all, the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Collector’s Edition is quite a hefty package with a whole lot of surprises. Big fans of Final Fantasy VII might want to check this one out, especially if you fancy having Sephiroth standing menacing in your room as you adventure throughout Gaia.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is slated to launch exclusively on the PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024.
