MSI Malaysia has officially announced the pre-order date and pricing in Malaysia for their upcoming handheld gaming device, the MSI Claw.

Pre-orders for the gaming handheld will open from 9th March 2024, with a starting price of RM3,499. But the official release date for the device has yet to be announced.

The MSI Claw is a handheld device that is powered by up to the latest Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 processor 155H and features Intel® XeSS technology.

The operating system for the handheld is Windows 11 Home, with Windows 11 Pro being an available option for upgrade.

MSI Claw features two exclusive software, the MSI Center M and App Player. With MSI Center M, it provides a dedicated interface designed for handheld devices with settings such as Control Mode, Macro-Keys Settings, and Mystic Light. The App Player acts as a game library for the Claw, offering games across both Windows titles and Android mobile games.

The handheld is also fitted with a 7-inch touchscreen display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, alongside an ergonomic design that is tailored to fit various hand sizes. The controls of the MSI Claw are fitted with Hall Effect Triggers and Joysticks, preventing controller drift from being an issue.

For cooling, the MSI Claw is fitted with MSI Cooler Boost Hyperflow technology that features dual fans, heat pipes, and an intraflow thermal design, redirecting parts of the airflow to cool its internals. The handheld also boasts a 53WHr battery capacity, allowing the console to run for 2-3 hours on a full workload
