Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm – New Demo Trailer Revealed!

Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm is a game by Cornfox and Bros. that was first announced back in August 2016. They also revealed a 14 minute gameplay video played on the iPhone 7 which showcased amazing graphics and Zelda-esque gameplays! This time, Cornfox and Bros. revealed yet another demo gameplay trailer during the GDC 2018 event where we get a glimpse of 2 allies that you tag with you on your adventures.

The demo that they showed will also be playable at the Game Developers Conference 2018 that’s held in San Francisco this week. So if you’re there, you can try out the game first hand! As seen in the demo trailer, players will explore the Great Jungle of Pirta, where it’s run by the Owru nation divided by an old grudge. The mission here is to unite the Owrus and get them to join the fight against Mesmeroth’s Dark Army.

Two members that I mentioned who will be tagging along are Trin, the granddaughter of Arcadia’s leader Archimedes, and Gen, a mysterious robot who wields an old samurai weapon Eki. From the demo trailer, we saw enemies with a shield bar and players will be able to shoot electric bolts with a gun that will take that shield off to deal more damage on their HP. There’s also a bomb where players can throw at the enemies and ignite it with a gun shot, dealing direct HP damage to them. Did I mention you also get a free grappling hook too?

Currently there’s no official launch date yet but the game is confirmed for iOS devices so far. The game running on the iPhone 7 Plus seems to run really well with Unreal Engine 4. Hopefully, more info will be revealed soon!
