There are tons of apps that’s available on the Play Store. Some of them are free, some would require you to purchase before you download it. Though there are lite versions, it usually does not allow you to use it to its full capability. Google recently introduced us with Android Instant for developers which will enable the devs to develop Android Instant Apps for users to try a portion of their app.
For example, if you’re eager to try a game but you’re not sure how well the game would run on your mobile and it requires payment, you can try out a portion of the game without making purchase or fully downloading it. Of course, this is all up to the developers if they made it available as an Android Instant App. So instead of downloading the full version, you will download a small portion of the game and play-test it before purchasing it.
Because Google just recently introduced Android Instant, it is still not available on Google Play yet but it will be coming soon. Currently the program is in its closed beta phase and developers can already try converting their APKs into an Android Instant App. It shouldn’t be too long for players to test out bite-sized versions of premium titles in the future.
