Digimon Con 2024 Official Livestream Date and Special Guests Unveiled 

Bandai has shared details about the Digimon Con 2024 event, which celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Digimon animation series.

According to the announcement on Facebook, a livestream will be airing on the Digimon Partners official YouTube channel on 9 March 2024, at 7 pm PST (10 pm EST).

For the uninitiated, Digimon Con is an event showcasing everything new in the Digimon franchise, including any new games, anime, movies, and trading card games.

As previously announced, Digimon Con 2024 will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Digimon animation, particularly, the first season of the anime, Digimon Adventure, on March 6th.

Alongside the announcement of when the livestream event will take place, the key visual for the event was also shown, featuring the iconic Agumon and Gabumon from Digimon Adventure as well as Loogaman and Pteromon.

The special guests who will be showing up at the event were also unveiled, namely the voice actors who had lent their voices to the adorable Digimon.

The special guests are:

• Chika Sakamoto (Agumon)
• Mayumi Yamaguch (Gabumon)
• Atori Shigematsu (Piyomon)

Previously, Bandai revealed a new webcomic series that will be based on the trading card game of the Digimon franchise, Digimon Liberator.

Not many details have been shared about Digimon Liberator yet, but it is speculated that Bandai will unveil more of it during the livestream event.

Digimon Liberator is scheduled for spring 2024 and features the aforementioned Pteromon as its flagship Digimon.
