Next game in the Assassin’s Creed series will be heading to Ancient Greece?!

Since the release of Assassin’s Creed: Origins that set its story in Ancient Egypt last October, fans have been wondering where will be the setting of the next Assassin’s Creed video game at. According to Comicbook, multiple sources have been suggesting that the next game of the series will be heading to Ancient Greece.

The setting of Greece is once said to be involved in Assassin’s Creed Origins (previously codenamed Empire) but is then reported to be saved for the next game after Origins. Also, there is another trace that may have already been publicly revealed last year – Raphael Lacoste, a series art director who worked on Origins posted a picture of his trip to Greece on Twitter.

The development of next Assassin’s Creed video game is apparently started since the beginning of 2017 (earlier than the launch of Origins) and is currently scheduled to release in fall 2019 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Noted that all of these are not confirmed by Ubisoft yet so take it with a grain of salt. However, Comicbook has been provided us with accurate leaks on Assassin’s Creed Origins, therefore this might worth our attention too.
