Batman’s greatest nemesis, Joker, is not only confirmed to appear in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League but will also be playable.
Pulling back the curtains on the post-launch content coming to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice, the infamous Joker will be joining the roster to kick off Season 1 sometime in March.
Also, this particular clown prince of chaos is not the same one from the Arkham games, he is staying dead for real.
Instead, this Joker is from another universe because Brainiac is messing with the multiverse and pulling Elseworlds together to “rebuild” them into one world.
Interestingly, this Joker was also a “part of the Suicide Squad in the Elseworld that he’s from”, as Rocksteady Associate Design Director Johnny Armstrong revealed.
Alongside the Joker, there is also plenty of content planned for Season 1, including a new explorable environment like a funhouse based on the clown prince himself and new boss variants of Green Lantern and Superman to fight.
Joker is also not the only Batman villain showing up in Season 1 as two new narrative episodes centered around Two-Face and Scarecrow will be coming along with weapons themed around them.
Rocksteady has revealed that every season will come with a plethora of content, including a new playable villain each season.
Originally planned for a 2022 release, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was pushed back to spring 2023 before getting hit with another delay.
Now, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is slated to launch on 2 February 2024 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC.
