We just got another “Malaysia Boleh” moment as Magnus Games Studio, the developer behind Re:Legend has successfully signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Italian game publisher and distributor Digital Bros through its subsidiary 505 Games (the publisher of Payday 2). We will be able to see Re:Legend launching on Steam globally including North America, Europe and Asia!
In case you don’t know about Re:Legend yet, it is an indie game that focuses on monster-raising, multiplayer simulation and RPG elements. It first gained its popularity when the company broke the record with 99% upvotes on Square Enix Collective, and is then became the most crowd-funded game in Southeast Asia for 2017 on Kickstarter. We have done an exclusive review of its demo version last November so check it out for more information!
During the press conference, Magnus co-founder DC Gan also mentioned that Re:Legend is preparing for a beta launch which will be live very soon. There are also quite a lot of changes made after the demo version showcased on previous events so we may put some expectation on the new changes too!
We still don’t know about the actual release date yet, you can stay tuned to their official site for latest updates!
