Kaitlyn Dever is a Golden Globe and Emmy nominee and is best known for her roles in “Booksmart”, “No One Can Save You”, “Justified”, and “Dopestick”.
Dever is no stranger to video games, as she previously appeared in another of Naughty Dog’s franchises being Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End as Cassie, the daughter of Nathan Drake and Elena Fisher.
Dever will be joined by returning cast members Pedro Pascal, who played Joel, as well as Bella Ramsey who plays Ellie in the upcoming season of the TV series adaptation of the acclaimed post-apocalyptic video game series.
Season 2 of HBO’s The Last of Us is said to tell the story years after the original game, and will focus on the repercussions of the choices made by Joel and Ellie in the first chapter.
As of time of writing, The Last of Us Season 2 has yet to receive a release date, so fans will have to wait a little longer to see Kaitlyn Dever as Abby in action.
