Samurai Champloo Soundtrack Now Released on Spotify, Apple Music and Other Music Subscription Services Worldwide

The soundtrack for Shinichiro Watanabe’s acclaimed anime, Samurai Champloo, is now available on various music subscriptions such as Spotify, Apple Music, and more.

As a celebration of the anime series’ 20th anniversary, the soundtrack by four well-known hip hop artists: Nujabes, fat jon, FORCE OF NATURE, and Tsutchie will finally be available on music subscriptions services worldwide.

The tracks that the artists have created were released across four CDs “departure,” “masta,” “impression,” and “playlist”, and were reissued as vinyl in 2022, with the vinyl versions being sold for over 20,000 copies.

As the CDs are currently hard to come by, and a record player is required to listen to the vinyl records, the release of the soundtrack across various music subscription services will enable both domestic and international fans to easily access the soundsource.

In conjunction with the announcement, an official Samurai Champloo anime playlist has also been released on Spotify, as well as more plans that are currently in the works.
