Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft’s take on an open-world heist game set in the popular space opera franchise, might be coming out sometime in late 2024.
The release window was quietly unveiled in a Disney Parks blog post early today, noting that Star Wars Outlaws is set to release in late 2024, however, it has since been amended to come out sometime this year.
Ubisoft remained tight-lipped about the release date of the game since its initial reveal during Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase in June 2023.
The game will take place between Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi and will follow Kay Vess along with her companion Nix as they explore the galaxy as scoundrels seeking freedom.
In October of last year, it was reported that Ubisoft had delayed one of its big unnamed projects that was initially planned to be released by the end of March 2024.
This sparked many speculations with many believing it would either be Skull and Bones or Star Wars Outlaws, however, Ubisoft has not confirmed or denied any rumors.
Star Wars Outlaws is set to be released on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC, and for more updates of the game, be sure to find them here at GamerBraves
