Star Ward is an upcoming sci-fi action gacha title by developer Century Game, which started its closed beta test phase yesterday.
Known as “星之翼” in Chinese, the game started its closed beta test titled “Starlight Test” yesterday in China beginning from December 27th, 2023 until January 8th, 2024.
The beta test is available through TapTap and players interested can also pre-register for the game through its TapTap store page or its official website.
In the gameplay footage by players who got into the beta tests, Star Ward is shown to be a 3D action game where players control anime girls armed with winged exosuits or jetpacks as they hover around the arena and engage in a duel with an opponent.
This particular beta test has plenty of exclusive benefits for its participants, including 800 Star Crystals, 10 consecutive coupons for the standard banner, 10 consecutive coupons for the featured banner, and monthly cards.
Additionally, 1 600 Star Crystals were also given to participants via the mail every day and players will also obtain a Test-Limited Commemorative Avatar Frame.
As of writing, the game is only currently launching in China and there is no official announcement of an English version to be released globally yet.
