Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Sweep the Board! is a digital board game based on the popular shōnen anime series, Demon Slayer, produced by Ufotable.
Adapted from a manga series by writer and illustrator Koyoharu Gotouge, the story tells a young boy named Tanjiro Kamado who has to join the Demon Slayer Corps to protect his younger sister Nezuko, who had transformed into a demon herself.
Sweep the Board!
As a digital board game, the title will feature many prominent locations from the story as boards, including Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa.
Meanwhile, Tsuzumi Mansion and Mount Natagumo will also appear in Board Two, while Board Three will be Mugen Train arc inspired.
Each character will have their own Slayer’s Dice that grants unique effects with a 3-turn cooldown, so timing its use is recommended to maximize its effect.
Aside from the usual gameplay, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Sweep the Board! will also feature mini-games such as Tanjiro’s Total Concentration Training or a 2-on-2 team battle where you must match cards with the same pictures.
You can also earn Slayer Coins as you play, and they are for purchasing items from merchants and utilizing features on the board.
As mentioned, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Sweep the Board! releases on Nintendo Switch on April 25th, 2024.
