Regardless of how you play Armored Core 6, you’ll find new content in the 1.05 patch– which adds parts, weapons and ranked PvP.
The 1.05 patch, available today, adds ranked matchmaking to Armored Core 6- letting you climb from Unranked to S-Rank on your journey to be the best mercenary.
Of course, there’s no point being the best if you can’t show it off- and the game is introducing customizable nameplates to help with that effort.
Additionally, the update also introduces new arenas, based on various in-game locations such as the arena where you fight “Honest” Brute as well as The Wall.
Just like regular PvP, Ranked mode will have 1v1 and 3v3 formats, letting you choose to fly solo or with a flock of Ravens.
The mode can be accessed via NEST, just like previous PvP modes.
However, even if you’re not interested in multiplayer, that doesn’t mean there’s no reason to go back to the game- the trailer also shows off new parts: a Schneider-esque tetrapod.
It also seems to feature new weapons, though all we have to go off is a single frame in the trailer with the full mech in-frame.
Bandai Namco Entertainment haven’t confirmed how to unlock the new parts as of this writing.
