Chainsaw Man The Movie Reze Arc Announced

As part of the recent Jump Festa 2024, a new Chainsaw Man movie has been announced, putting Reze as the main focus.

Titled as Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, a short 51 second teaser trailer was revealed, along with a key visual of the upcoming movie.

From the teaser trailer, it showed off various of short animated sequences from the Reze arc in the manga, such as from the scenes where Reze and Denji sneaked into a school.

However as of time of writing, not much information has been revealed regarding the movie’s details or release date, so fans might need to wait a bit longer to see this explosive arc being premiered in the big screens.

While not confirmed, this upcoming movie might follow similar trends with the Demon Slayer Mugen Train movie, where they will condense an entire arc of the chainsaw man into a 90 minute movie, and eventually expand it in the second season of the anime if it gets confirmed.

Reze is considered one of the most popular characters in Chainsaw Man following a popularity poll that took place in 2020, even beating Denji.

The Chainsaw Man anime adaptation of creator Tatsuki Fujimoto’s work took the internet by storm with its release back in 2022, being ranked 114 on MyAnimeList.
