Hazbin Hotel Gets A Release Date On Prime Video

Viral internet pilot Hazbin Hotel has gotten a release date, having finally announced it was being greenlit earlier this year.

According to the trailer, Hazbin Hotel will release on Prime Video on January 19th 2024, though there’s no word on if the series will also be available in the SEA market.

Hazbin Hotel is an R-rated musical that follows Charlie, a demon seeking to redeem the denizens of hell by opening a halfway home for them to prove to Heaven that they can be saved.

However based on the trailer it looks like that doesn’t go on for long- since the Angels literally star a timer to eradicate the denizens of Hell, with Charlie seen rallying the demons to thwart their Angelic nemeses.

Created by Vivienne “Vivziepop” Medran the series pilot was originally posted to YouTube four years ago, with it now sitting at 92 million views.

Several characters have since been recast since the original pilot, with stars like Stephanie Beatriz and Keith David joining the cast.

The internet is no stranger to viral animated pilots- earlier this year we saw the pilot for The Amazing Digital Circus, another dark adult comedy that gained notoriety online for its anxious clown protagonist alongside a passionate fanbase.
