Following the recent announcement teaser poster for the trailer of Rockstar Games’ GTA VI, many game developers were quick to board on the trend, making announcements of their own with a similar template.
Rockstar Games had previously shown off a poster over on Twitter on 1st December, announcing a trailer for the highly anticipated next installment for the Grand Theft Auto franchise.

The poster showed off a clean sunset-esque design which features mainly purple and orange gradients along with silhouettes of palm trees, as well as the dates and time of the trailer being displayed on the centre of the poster. As of time of writing, the post had garnered over 2 Million likes and 498 Thousand retweets over on Twitter.
Several other game developers followed on Rockstar’s poster by making their own announcements of upcoming game details with similar design elements that we have seen from the GTA VI trailer announcement.
Games such as Halo Infinite, Call of Duty Warzone, Overwatch 2, Sea of Thieves, and even Fall Guys had made announcement posts using the same vibrant sun-set esque design aesthetic, followed by silhouettes of objects that were from their respective games.
