MOREFUN and Tencent games have announced a mobile adaptation of the popular Chinese story The Outcast, also known Yi Ren Zhi Xia featuring an animated appearance by none other than Bruce Lee.
The trailer, posted on Weibo, shows a sick third person action game, allowing you to do flashy combos as well as elemental magic by chaining punches, kicks as well as elemental skills.
Similar to titles like Punishing Gray Raven and Honkai Impact 3rd, you’ll also be able to do perfect dodges to get out of the way of big attacks.
One thing that does set it apart though is who you’ll be fighting- the trailer is officially introduced as PVP footage, meaning you’ll be able to duke it out like an arena fighter against other players.
The footage specifically shows The Outcast characters Wang Ye duking it out against Zhuge Qing- though at the moment it’s not currently known how important PVP will be to the overall game.
It does however contain an interesting flex- an animated version of Bruce Lee giving his infamous Be Water speech at the start of the trailer.
Given the fact that he actually has an animated model, it’s unclear just how much of the late martial arts star is integrated into the game- though considering he’s no stranger to posthumous mobile game collabs, we’ll just have to wait until after the game’s release to find out how integral he is to the game.
