Get ready to step into the shoes of Leon Kennedy once more, as Capcom has announced the release date for the Resident Evil 4 Remake VR mode.
The Resident Evil 4 Remake VR Mode will be available as a free update for the PS5 version of the game on 8th December 2023, and will be compatible with the PSVR2 headset.
Along with the reveal of the release date, Capcom had also released a launch trailer which shows off snippets of gameplay in the VR mode and even new features, including the ability to dual-wield weapons.
The VR mode will also be utilising the PSVR2 Sense controls which offers haptic feedback, making handling the various weapons available in the game feel much more immersive.
Additionally, players who don’t own the main game can try out a free VR Mode demo for the PSVR2, which will be available on the same day as the VR Mode DLC on 8th December 2023.
Players can try out the shooting range to experience how intuitive the controls are, from aiming and shooting, to different reloading methods for each of the weapons.
The Resident Evil 4 Remake VR mode was originally revealed back in September during Sony Entertainment’s State of Play.
