Ingress to get an anime adaptation

Japan-based Fuji TV announced a new block of anime programming known as “Plus Ultra” which is scheduled to go live on October of 2018. One such project for the block is the anime adaptation of Ingress, the AR game developed by Pokemon GO developer Niantic.

CG animator Sakuragi Yuhei has been appointed series director for the show, while CRAFTAR will be handling animation production duties.

Niantic describes the plot of Ingress as follows:
