Eve Harapeco, the singer of the first opening credits sequence for Jujutsu Kaisen is coming to Malaysia as part of his Culture Asia tour.
In a post on his Instagram, Eve confirmed six dates for the Culture tour, running from May 2024 through June of the same year.
The stops cover South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia as well as Jakarta, Taipei and Japan, with more dates to be announced.
The currently announced concert dates are as follows:
- 12th May- Seoul (YES24 Live Hall)
- 22nd May- Singapore (The Theatre at Media Corp)
- 24th May- Malaysia (The ZEPP at Kuala Lumpur)
- 26th May- Indonesia (Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta)
- 5th June-Taipei (Zepp New Taipei)
- 9th June- Japan (Yokohoama Buntai)
Eve is one of many Japanese artists to be putting Malaysia on their tour lists for the Culture Asia Tour- this year we’ve seen BabyMetal and Man With A Mission come to KL, while next year’s program also includes duo YOASOBI.
He’s best known for having done the first opening for Jujutsu Kaisen, titled Kaikai Kitan, though his anime discography includes the second opening for My Hero Academia Season 6 as well as the 12th end credits sequence for Chainsaw Man.
In 2020, Kaikai Kitan was nominated for Best Opening Sequence at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards, while Eve himself was nominated for Best Japanese Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards;
