Hydro Archon Furina is finally descending upon us in the upcoming Genshin Impact version 4.2 update, “Masquerade of the Guilty”, bringing along a plethora of new content with her.
New Characters
5★ Furina
Furina, also known as Focalors, is the God of Justice and the current Hydro Archon who oversees Fontaine.
She lives for the courtroom thrill and drama, often flamboyant and imprudent. She will be a Hydro Sword user who can change her own Arkhe alignment and summon Salon Members to join her in battle.
4★ Charlotte
Charlotte is a journalist for The Steambird, the news outlet of Fontaine.
Always seeking the best scoop, Charlotte will be a Cryo Catalyst user who can heal more or damage more depending on her allies’ nation.

Starting with version 4.2, players will be able to lower the difficulty of certain challenges during the story missions if they are not able to clear them.
Additionally, adventurers level 40 and above will soon be able to quickly start challenging Trouce Domains (except Stormterror Dvalin and Andrius) to earn needed materials to upgrade their characters.
Genius Invokation game mode will also be receiving plenty of quality-of-life changes such as double speed, deck sharing codes, and deck slot increase.
Moreover, returning players will also get to experience the game once again with ample reward through the updated Stellar Reunion system, guiding players through new quests and areas.
