DeNA has announced that Captain Tsubasa: Ace, the upcoming mobile game based on the popular Captain Tsubasa series has officially surpassed 1 million pre registrations ahead of its launch this December.
As part of the celebration for Captain Tusbasa: Ace hitting 1 million pre-registrations, DeNA put out an explanation for the Tactics system in the game.
Tactic Plans act as power ups for your units, representing different techniques for your units based on units suffix.
“For example, well-known characters like Tsubasa Ozora are better suited to cards with the “Dribble” attribute as their primary Tactic Cards. It’s worth noting that Tactic Cards come in two categories: “Technique Tactics” and “Style Tactics.” Different combinations of tactics can even generate “Set Effect,” allowing for more diverse gameplay!”, DeNa says.
Additional suffixes can be unlocked by leveling up your players, and Tactic Cards are leveled up with extra Tactic Cards and Silver Balls.
DeNa urges players to plan accordingly for their Tactic Plans on different players, based on their specific strengths.
“Taking the popular protagonist Tsubasa Ozora from the anime, whose playing style is “Technique,” players can choose tactics with high bonuses in “Shot” and “Technique.” His core shooting skill, “Drive Shoot,” benefits from both of these attributes, making the skill more powerful”, they said.
“For the powerful striker Kojiro Hyuga from Toho Academy, who excels in “Strength,” his signature shot, “Tiger Shot,” is enhanced by “Shot” and “Strength.” Therefore, players should select tactics in that direction”, they explain.
“As for Tsubasa Ozora’s dependable teammate, Ryo Ishizaki, who specializes in “Tenacity” as a defender, his main role is defense. Therefore, he wouldn’t use attributes related to “Shot.” Instead, players can enhance his “Block” attribute based on his signature defensive skill, “Face Block,” or choose to strengthen other skills like “Charged Tackle” or “Flying Tackle” to boost “Slide Tackle” and “Tackle” attributes”, they conclude.
