The previously announced free-to-play music drumming mobile game, Taiko no Tatsujin RHYTHM CONNECT has released for certain regions.
Taiko no Tatsujin RHYTHM CONNECT is available now on iOS and Android devices in Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.
A release date for other regions has yet to be announced.
The latest Taiko no Tatsujin mobile game aims to bring the taiko drumming experience in an easy-to-play, portrait-mode mobile game format, allowing players to play the game on the go.
Over 800 songs will be available in the game, with genres ranging from Classical to Vocaloid music.
The songs can be either be played for free by watching advertisements, or paid to play as much as you’d like without distractions.
Earning points through playing will allow players to buy items and outfits for their characters.
There will also be in-game features that allows players to discover new songs to add to their collection, such as the constantly updating displayed song list and events.
Additionally, the game will have LINE integration, which allows players to leave comments on their favourite songs and play with their friends.
A new drumstick controller for Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival for the Nintendo Switch was recently announced, allowing players to have a more realistic drumming experience.
