Apex Legends To Have Post Malone Collaboration, Adding In A Brand New Game Mode And More

Apex Legends have announced a collaboration between the game along with rapper and singer Post Malone, who is a big fan of the game.

As part of the collaboration, a new game mode, cosmetic designs and merch sweepstakes will be dropping in this event for both Post Malone and Apex Legends fans to get excited about.

Added to Apex Legends is the brand new Three Strikes game mode, a high-octane adrenaline filled take on the Apex games.

The first big change in this game mode is the “Strike” system, where your team wipes when everyone dies; however, you’ll all respawn and skydive in together, keeping all your gear and Evo Shield progression.

The only downside is that you’ll get a strike, and as the game mode’s name implies, when your team gets three strikes, you’ll be eliminated.

Three Strikes is a game mode that encourages players to take risks, where the strikes act as sort of a safety net so players can make bigger plays and braver pushes without worrying being eliminated right away.

Another notable change in this new game mode is that downed players can’t take damage, meaning that you can’t get thirsted.

Reviving in Three Strikes is also much faster, so you can revive players in the middle of fights or in between reloading, which could lead to some hectic back and forth.

Another part of this collaboration is the cosmetics designed in partnership with Post Malone, which incorporates some elements and outfits seen in things from music videos and live shows to some of the Legends in game.
