The previously announced Little Nightmares III has released gameplay footage of its new online co-op feature.
The gameplay footage shows the two main protagonists, Low and Alone, travelling through the Spiral looking for a way out of the Nowhere through solving puzzles that requires participation from both characters.
Their journey starts in the Necropolis, a place raised from the desert sands and powered by gusting winds, frequently described as a city of eternal energy and certain death.
Although Necropolis used to be inhabited by the Dwellers, nowadays the ancient metropolis is more of a ghost town where the two children will have to avoid several dangers, including an Escaping Monster Baby.
This will be the first time where online co-op is available in the franchise, letting players each take on the role of one of the 2 new characters, Low or Alone.
The game will also be fully playable in single player, with an AI controlling the second character.
Additionally, Little Nightmares III will also feature a Friend Pass system, allowing you to play online with others without needing both players to buy a copy of the game each.
A diorama of the Escaping Monster Baby is also available on the Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia store now.
Little Nightmares III is scheduled to be released in 2024 and will available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
