Google Cloud has announced strategic collaborations with VNGGames, Amanotes, and Wolffun Game to reach a wider audience.
The collaboration comes as VNGGames, Amanotes, and Wolffun Game have all used the infrastructure, analytics, and AI capabilities of Google Cloud to serve large audiences, view player and game insights, accelerate time to market, and improve real-time player experiences.
VNGGames uses Google Cloud’s global edge network and web application firewalls to serve its mobile shooter games.
Given that players regularly attain new levels, add friends, and make in-game purchases, games companies cannot afford to “forget” player progress, thus VNGGames has also been using Google Cloud’s scalable database management service to organize and secure player profiles, which ensures players can pick up where they left off.
Amanotes has been using Google Cloud’s serverless data warehouse and streaming analytics service to unite player and game data that were locked in silos, enabling staff to pull real-time insights from the data for decision-making.
These insights provide information from anything ranging from gameplay design, to which songs to acquire licenses for and integrate into its games, to user acquisition and monetization strategy.
Google has also recently announced the arrival of the Google Play Pass to Malaysia, which is free for the first month.
