Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster Now Available On Nintendo Switch

A fully remastered version of Baten Kaitos I & II have arrived together as a single title on the Nintendo Switch.

The Baten Kaitos series features distinct card-based RPG mechanics that allow for split-second decisions that allows players to edge closer to victory.

In each title, players will take the role of a Guardian Spirit and guide the protagonist and their companions through unique adventures.

Baten Kaitos I tells the story of Kalas who, while seeking revenge for the death of his brother and grandfather, meets Xelha as they both embark on a journey to defeat the Alfard Empire.

The second game, Baten Kaitos II, is a prequel that takes place 20 years before the events of the first game, and involves Sagi, who sets on a journey to clear his name after being framed, and to unveil the empire’s secrets.

New quality of life features that enhance gameplay are also coming to the Nintendo Switch remaster of Baten Kaitos.

Features include an “Instant KO” setting that will let players defeat the enemy in one single attack, a major increase to game and battle speeds, a “No Encounters” setting that will let players avoid battles, and more.

The game is available now on the Nintendo Switch.
