MapleStory Blitz, a spin-off mobile game based off the Maple IP by Nexon is finally officially launched! The game that was first announced in November 2016 took about a year to finally launch globally in 16 selected countries. Instead of the classic MapleStory RPG genre, this time MapleStory Blitz is a competitive card game where players will need to build their decks of 30 cards and play strategically against other players.
If you haven’t played during the soft-launch back in November 2017, the game is pretty much like Clash Royale, where you will need to play your card, deploy your unit on either of the 3 lanes and topple down your opponent’s base. The game features its own unique characters from the MapleStory universe like Mercedes, Phantom, Kyrin, Oz and many others to battle against the Black Mage (yes, there’s a story to it).
Currently, MapleStory Blitz is officially launched only in the 16 countries mentioned below:
- South Korea
- Taiwan
- Thailand
- Singapore
- Hong Kong
- Macau
- Indonesia
- Vietnam
- Myanmar
- Laos
- Cambodia
- New Zealand
- Papua New Guinea
- Malaysia
- Philippines
- Australia
If you loved the MapleStory IP or just wanted to take a break from all the grinding from MapleStory, then this could ease you off those grinding sessions on your mobile! OR if you actually love the grind but don’t have much time to play it on PC, there’s also an upcoming mobile version called MapleStory M, which will be coming soon since it’s CBT ended just last month!
