(UPDATED) PlayStation Plus Subscriptions Price Increase in Southeast Asia 

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has announced that they will increase the price of the PlayStation Plus 12-month subscriptions worldwide, including Southeast Asia regions.

As announced through an official blog post, SIE will increase the price of the PlayStation Plus 12-month subscription globally across all benefit plans starting on the 6th of September, 2023.

UPDATE (05/09/23): Sony has also updated subscription prices for 1-month and 3-month plans in Thailand and Malaysia.

The newly revealed prices for PlayStation Plus 12-month subscription plans in Southeast Asia are as follows:

According to SIE, the new price adjustment is meant to enable them to continue incorporating high-quality games and benefits to the PlayStation Plus subscription service.

SIE noted that the new prices for the PlayStation 12-month subscription will still remain at a discounted rate when compared to the 1-month or 3-month plans over a 12-month period.

For current 12-month subscribers, SIE said that the increased price will not take effect until the next renewal date on or after 6 November 2023.

However, if users make any changes to their membership on or after 6 September 2023 like upgrades, downgrades, or buying additional time, will update the plan with the new prices.

Updated Prices for PlayStation Plus Plans in Thailand and Malaysia 

Additionally, SIE has also increased the prices for PlayStation Plus 1-month and 3-month plans in Thailand and Malaysia. The new prices are as follows:
