Indie developers Team Eyeball have showcased their upcoming drift-focused racing game, SKID, at Busan Indie Connect 2023.
SKID is an upcoming arcade racing game developed by Team Eyeball and published by NICALIS, who have published other titles such as Crystal Crysis and Redout.
This racing game is all about mastering the art of drifting and boosting if you’re aiming to finish first.
SKID offers a range of gameplay modes, including Single Player Story Mode, Time Attack Challenge, Multiplayer options like Quick Play, 1vs1, Drag Racing, and Ranked Game modes
Mastering the game’s controls and mechanics is relatively simple, offering a user-friendly entry point for newcomers to the racing genre.
The developers have also stated that SKID is focused on being beginner-friendly for those who are not too familiar with racing games so that it can be enjoyed by everyone of varying skill levels.
This direction that the developers have chosen for the game can make the game a chill and casual experience for hardcore racing fans as well if they are looking for something that doesn’t require too much focus such as Forza Horizon or Gran Turismo.
Various Game Modes will also be available in the game for you to choose from including a Single Player Story Mode, Time Attack Challenge, or Multiplayer with Quick Play, 1vs1, Drag Racing and even Ranked Game modes.
SKID is planned to be released year on mobile, PC and Nintendo Switch.
