Ubisoft has announced that the closed beta of its co-op pirate game, Skull and Bones, will begin on August 25th until the 26th.
At present, the closed beta is exclusively available for PC users via Ubisoft Connect, although the game will also launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Microsoft Windows, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna.
Ubisoft will select a limited number of participants for the Skull and Bones closed beta, and if chosen, you will have the opportunity to invite two of your friends to join you in trying out the game.
In order for you to be able to play the game, you’ll have to make sure that your PC meets these minimum or recommended requirements:
Recommended requirements (1080p at 60 frames per second):
- Operating system: Windows 10 / Windows 11
- Processor: Intel Core i7-8700K, AMD Ryzen 5 3600, or better
- RAM: 8 GB (running dual-channel mode)
- Video card: NVIDIA RTX 2070 (8 GB), AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT (8 GB), or better
- Hard drive: 65 GB available storage (SSD recommended)
Minimum requirements (1080p at 30 frames per second)
- Operating system: Windows 10
- Processor: Intel Core i7-4790, AMD Ryzen 5 1600, or better
- RAM: 8 GB (running dual-channel mode)
- Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB), AMD Radeon RX 570 (8 GB), or better
- Hard drive: 65 GB available storage (SSD recommended)
An added benefit of being part of the closed beta is that players will be able to unlock a set of unique rewards such as emotes and items to customize their ships at launch.
