Westworld to get a smartphone title

Now here is something unexpected. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has just announced that the Westworld television series will be getting a mobile game which is currently in development.

Then again, the concept of the show alone gives it a lot of potential when turned into a video game – it’s a fully-realised robot theme park with plenty of opportunities for disaster. Disaster of course happens. Behaviour Interactive of Fallout Shelter fame will be working on the game in collaboration with Kilter Films, an HBO associated company.

While details are a bit sketchy at this point in time, the game is being described as a “Delos Park Training Simulation” that involves managing a “miniature Westworld,”. You will manage the park and keep guests satisfied, just like you would in similar games. Certainly an interesting take on the management simulator genre, so we are definitely looking forward to it.
