Bandai Namco has announced Taiko no Tatsujin: RHYTHM CONNECT, a free-to-play music drumming mobile game for iOS and Android devices.
Taiko no Tatsujin: RHYTHM CONNECT is planned to launch in Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macao, and Thailand with English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese language support. Bandai Namco has not announced the release date yet.
Taiko no Tatsujin: RHYTHM CONNECT aims to bring the taiko drumming experience into the portability of mobile devices, featuring an easy-to-play, portrait-view gameplay.
The game planned to have over 600 songs available for players to drum along to, and users can view advertisements or purchase the songs to unlock them.
Bandai Namco has already revealed many of the songs on the Taiko no Tatsujin: RHYTHM CONNECT official website, ranging from Vocaloid to classical music.
In addition, the game will also feature fan-favorite video game soundtracks from well-known titles like TEKKEN and Ace Combat.
Additionally, the game will have LINE integration, allowing players to play with their friends through the social networking platform.
Through LINE integration, fans can also leave comments on their favorite songs and receive updates from the developers by following the Taiko no Tatsujin: RHYTHM CONNECT official LINE account.
Moreover, the website states that fans can participate in events to discover new songs to add to their collection.
