SHIFT UP Corporation announced that Destiny Child will shut down all services on the 21st September 2023 at 2:00 am (UTC+0).
The announcement was made on the Destiny Child official Twitter and an official blog post on the Cafe Naver website.
Service Termination Schedule
In the blog post, SHIFT UP details the schedule of service termination as follows:
- Termination of in-app purchases – 20th July 2023 after maintenance
- Termination of game service – 21st September 2023 at 2:00 am (UTC+0)
- Termination of official communities – 31st October 2023
SHIFT UP also highlights that there will be an update called the “Destiny Child: Memorial” after the end of services, available on the 22nd September 2023.
The Memorial update is said to bring the game offline and players will be able to keep their game data, allowing them to continue viewing the Childs they collected and enjoy the stories even after the service ends.
In order to access the “Memorial” feature, players will have to link their account from the in-game Settings after the server maintenance on the 17th August 2023 and by no later than the termination date of game services.
SHIFT UP will also be holding a Destiny’s Child Memorial Concert online through various channels, where players can lookback at their adventures in the game through live performances.
More information in regards to account linking and Memorial Concert will be revealed at a later date.
Future Service Plan
A future service plan for the game has also revealed, noting how updates will be rolling out until the server termination date.
SHIFT UP notes that any events scheduled prior this announcement will still be released unchanged until the end of service.
In addition, daily free rewards will be given out to players via the mail in the form of gems, gold, stamina and premium summon tickets.
All packages will also be free and claimable from Lan Fei’s Shop until the end of the game.
On the 17th August update, Destiny Child will be receiving some reruns of popular events and details will be announced in a separate notice.
