[Guide] Snowbreak : Containment Zone – Tier List

Snowbreak : Containment Zone officially launches today on 20th July 2023 and players might be wondering which characters to choose from, this tier list might help ease that decision.

Do note that characters in Snowbreak : Containment Zone might have different variants and are judged individually in this tier list. A character placement on the list may differ in the future when more content becomes available.

The tier list as follows:

Must Have		Sniper	Thermal	Effectively the best character in the game so far. The best DPS choice for boss battles with her high damage outputs and skill kit.
	Yao (Winter Solstice)
S		Shotgun	Electrical	Excellent short range DPS in crowded scenarios, and one of the few characters with direct buff skills.
	Fenny (Coronet)
		Sniper	Kinetic	Has access to homing shots, meaning that you don't need to aim despite being a Sniper character.
	Marian (Swift)
A		Submachine Gun	Frost	Able to shred enemies in close range with her high DPS output and could potentially rival Fenny (Coronet), but damage falls off if enemy is far away.
	Lyfe (Wild Hunt)
		Pistol	Chaos	Excels at crowded scenarios with her active skill. Can also be a great support with her ultimate which can provide damage boost and also slows enemies.
	Acacia (Redacted)
		Sniper	Frost	The only healer currently available in the game, making her extremely valuable. Also a great DPS in mid to long range.
	Yao (Quiet Quitter)
B		Pistol	Thermal	Amazing support unit. But only shines the best when paired with Yao (Winter Solstice) with her support skill.
	Enya (Big Sis)
		Assault Rifle	Thermal	Another amazing support unit but mediocre as an active character.
	Fritia (Little Sunshine)
		Sniper	Chaos	Strong DPS that's good against either Bosses or Tougher enemies. Ultimately outclassed by Yao (Winter Solstice).
	Marian (Queen of Pain)
		Submachine Gun	Frost	Good SMG boss killer with her unique mechanic. However, not as great with dealing damage in crowded scenarios.
	Mauxir (Kitty)
C		Shotgun	Kinetic	Useful mobility skill and ironically pairs well with Fenny (Coronet). Somewhat of a one trick pony though.
	Fenny (Lionheart)
		Submachine Gun	Chaos	An interesting character that can summon a unit however it's uncontrollable and constant HP drain on Cherno makes it difficult to use.
	Cherno (Those Two)
		Submachine Gun	Electrical	Easy to use but has low damage output. Outclassed by her (Wild Hunt) variant.
	Lyfe (Wednesday)
		Pistol	Kinetic	Her support skill looks good at finishing off low HP enemies, but its extremely low range makes it hard to use effectively.
	Haru (The Ace)
		Shotgun	Kinetic	An overall solid tank but it's a role that isn't as sought out for in the game's current state. She doesn't deal as much consistent damage as other shotgun characters too.
	Nita (Hands)

But of course, as with gacha games go, it’s always best to pull for your favourite character regardless of meta.
