Pokemon Sleep, the game all about recording your sleep data is now available in Malaysia for users to download.
In an official Tweet by the Pokemon Sleep account, they announced that the game would begin rolling out in Asia, though it didn’t clarify which countries would specifically get it.
“[Pokemon Sleep] is now available in select countries in Asia!! please check the mobile storefront of your choice for more details on availability”, the tweet reads.
Users based in Malaysia as well as other countries can download Pokemon Sleep via these Android and iOS links if the game is available in your country.
The game is a sleep tracker app, using a microphone to record players sleep habits and feed it back to players via data.
For those concerned about privacy, there’s a privacy notice that says the actual recordings themselves are not sent to their servers, and are deleted the next day.
You’ll also be able to set a bedtime, and the app will send you a sleep notification to tell you to get ready.
Note that you’ll be recommended to have your phone plugged in for the entire night, as well as having it on your mattress with you while you sleep.
The game was also announced alongside the Pokemon Go Plus+, which remotely records your sleep instead of using your phone.
Based on the sleep data players will meet various other sleeping Pokemon, all with their own “sleep styles”, and these effects can also be controlled by taking care of your Snorlax.
