Bandai Namco Entertainment has released the second edition of Battle Scars- their collection of statistics across all players in Elden Ring with interesting stats involving characters like Ranni.
This was to highlight Elden Ring’s current ongoing sale, where the title is currently available at 30% off.
The new issue is available on the Bandai Namco Entertainment website, but the highlights are tied to the Dark Moon Greatsword- AKA the reward for completing Ranni’s quest.
According to these stats, a total of 11.7 million players have acquired the sword- to put it into perspective, imagine if 1 in 3 Malaysians were married to a four-armed Welsh doll in Elden Ring.
It’s not clear if this statistic includes New Game+ runs- marrying Ranni multiple times and possibly inflating the numbers.
That’s not the only interesting tidbit on display however- the report also has stats on the most-killed units in Elden Ring.
The chief of these are the club-wielding Albinaurics- they’ve had over 9.4 billion of their number cut down, while the Curved Sword variants are are in fourth place at 3.4 billion.
This is largely to do with a popular farming spot in the game, where the lax Albinaurics are all grouped together and rarely fight back, being the optimal spot to build your Rune collection quickly.
For the record, there are barely 8 billion people in the world.
