According to a Facebook post by Neofilms Southeast Asia a screening date for Shin Kamen Rider in Malaysia and other South East Asia countries were revealed.
The earliest screening will be in Indonesia which is scheduled to be on the 28th of June 2023 followed by Malaysian local cinemas on the 6th of July 2023.
Shin Kamen Rider is a Tokusatsu film written and directed by Hideaki Anno which was announced almost two years ago. The main cast in their respective roles are as follows:
- Sosuke Ikematsu as Takeshi Hongo
- Minami Hamabe as Ruriko Midorikawa
- Tasuku Emoto as Hayato Ichimonji
The movie then saw a release in Japan on March 18th 2023 and even saw a video game titled SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble released based on the events that took place within the movie, including the battles between the major antagonists in the game which you can find our thoughts and impressions on at our review.
Shin Kamen Rider was relatively well received as it sits at a current audience score of 89% at Rotten Tomatoes. Regardless not much information has been released regarding the movie screening in Malaysia in terms of which cinema outlet would be the one to distribute and screen it across the nation.
