Diablo Immortal’s latest expansion update coming after the maintenance which starts on 14th of June 5PM – 7PM PDT for Oceania, China, East Asia, Southeast Asia and Europe will feature a ton of new content and changes coming to the game.
These include an all new zone with its own questline, higher Hell difficulties, an open-world PvP event and many more which we will cover later in the article. Without further ado lets get started.
New Zone
One of the biggest content updates coming to Diablo Immortal tomorrow would be the addition of a new Zone that features a brand new main questline which requires Adventurers to complete the Fare You Well prologue quest as well as reach Hell Difficulty VI in order to partake in the new quest.
The new zone will also feature eight new side quests which has you cleaning up corruption and restoring the island to its former glory. The Ancient’s Cradle is plagued by Afflicted and Cradleguard which the players will need to eliminate to complete the new quests and bounties.
All New Difficulty And Helliquary System
Following the update, Diablo Immortal will also feature an all new Inferno difficulty which Adventurers can unlock by defeating Phangwrth, Warmth-Feaster on Hell Difficulty VIII and be at Paragon Level 800 or higher. For Inferno difficulty II and III, you will need to take on the new Hearthrot Demons which can be fought in the Helliquary Gauntlet.
Completing the Inferno Helliquary Gauntlet for each difficulty level will earn you Cosmetics from the Scions of the Storm Argent set and access to the new Inferno Difficulty Leaderboards, new Legendary items to enhance your build and the new Stances combat mechanic.
New Stance Combat Mechanic
The new Stance mechanic is available for Adventurers who are in Inferno Difficulty only. A second set of weapon slots will be unlocked once entered Inferno Difficulty which automatically enables the Stances. They are divided in two, Offensive and Defensive Stance which comes with their own unique passive bonuses which can be shifted every 30 seconds.
Upon switching Stances, the passive bonuses will be further enhanced for the first three seconds so players will need to be quick on their feet while utilizing these mechanics. Additional information to note regarding Stances are as follows:
- While 4 weapons are equipped, all Legendary Gems, Legendary Item Affixes, and Attributes will be active.
- Offensive bonuses of equipped weapons are reduced to 60% power while in the Defensive Stance.
- You may only equip one Legendary Item that affects each Skill while Stances are active.
PvP Limited-Time Conqueror Event
Starting from 16th of June 3AM till 28th of June 3AM server time, players can participate in the PvP Conqueror Event to complete daily and challenge tasks to earn Legendary items, Set items and more.
For a more equal playing field, all player characters are set to Level 60 with Legendary Gear and Set Gear Rank being set to 1 and the Rank of Legendary Gems on the character being set to 10 as well. Additional bonuses from sources such as Stances and Resonance and Combat Rating will also be disabled in the Limited-Time Conqueror Event.
On top of that, the content update also include an additional new equipment Set and three new Legendary Gems as well as an upcoming Limited-Time event and balancing improvements and adjustments which you can find further information regarding at their official blog post.
