Japan-based game developer Cave has just published the first PV for its upcoming game Sangoku Justice for the Android and iOS platforms, slated for a release in Spring 2018. The closed beta test will follow suit sometime in late February 2018. Cave plans to limit the number of CBT participants for Android to 2,000 and another 2,000 for iOS.
This action strategy title is set in 2038 with Japan trying to restore its former glory through the mass production of fine citizens. The move follows a ban on human genetic engineering which was lifted in order to address the decline in population and birth rate. Neighbouring nations were against the seemingly hostile intentions of Japan, and after instilling anti-government sentiments in the the country, civil war ensues.
The war eventually escalates to the point where three major factions are formed, namely the the Control faction, Freedom faction and the Dark Sisters. All sides have their own reason for fighting in the war, but only one shall come out triumphant.
