A new teaser trailer for the upcoming Fable Reboot was shown at the Xbox June 2023 showcase.
The Fable trailer is narrated by British actor Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part) playing a humble giant farmer that the hero must then fight against. You can watch it for yourself below:
“What does it mean to be a Hero? Well, in the fairytale land of Albion, that is entirely up to you. With a dark threat looming, and in a world where your reputation precedes you, your choices will change Albion forever”.
The last game in the Fable series was Fable: The Journey released back in 2019. This new game seems to maintain the same comedic sense of humor and fantasy setting of the previous Fables but modernized for next-gen consoles.
The Fable reboot was first announced back in 2020 at a previous Xbox Showcase. The game will run on the ForzaTech engine used for the Forza titles and it was confirmed that Eidos-Montréal will be acting as a co-developer for the game.
The Forza reboot will be available for Xbox Series X|S and PC. Like all first-party Xbox titles, it will also be available on day one on Xbox Game Pass.
