Games & Names Podcast Features a Game Industry Talk in a “Friday Dinner with Friends” Style

WN Media Group has released a brand new Podcast series titled Games & Names where they mainly talk about the all things related to the Games Industry.

The first episode features host Stan Minasov, VP of product at AppMagic alongside Daniel Ahmad, Director of Research and Insights at Niko Partners and Kirill Vaganov⁠, Business Development Specialist at AppMagic.

Games & Names is a “Friday Dinner With Friends” style of a podcast where industry experts join together to talk about all elements of Game Development, from game design and UI to production and company operation.

In this episode, Stan, Daniel and Kirill dove into the mobile game genres set to beat the industry decline for both the Eastern and Western markets. From there, they discussed on topics such as the main trends in the game markets and what it meant for developers, the main competitors of Hypercasual games, to name a few.

The episode features many key industry insights, such as Stan Minasov saying that “For the Core Niche if you want to go there, you need a strong IP.” where he brought up titles such as Diablo Immortal, Marvel Snap, and Apex Legends mobile were based on a popular IP, which attributed to a part of the game’s overall success.
