Front Mission 1St Remake is set in the year 2090, where the world’s conflicts are fought using giant war machines called Wanzers. Huffman Island, the only place where the Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) and the Unified Continental States (U.C.S.) share a land border, is a place of great conflict between the two.

An O.C.U. reconnaissance platoon led by Captain Royd Clive is assigned to investigate a U.C.S. munitions plant, which led to them being ambushed by U.C.S Wanzers that triggers a series of events that plunges the whole island into war.

Front Mission 1St Remake has you playing as either a member of the O.C.U or U.C.S while also allowing players to customize their Wanzers.

Players can strategize and utilize the the terrain to their advantage to gain an upper hand over the opponent.
