Bandai Namco Entertainment SEA and Square Enix have announced the console launch of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series, which remasters the first six Final Fantasy titles, in the SEA region.
With this release, the titles are now available for Nintendo Switch and PS4.
Each of the six titles is available for individual purchase, and sports new features such as the ability to toggle between music as well as setting the encounter rate.
Additionally, you’ll also be able to buy them as a bundle, collecting all six classic titles.
This console release for Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series has several new features, such as an option to toggle between classic pixelated font as well as an updated one.
You’ll be able to do the same with the music, too, alternating between the new music as well as the classic ones from the original game.
Most importantly, however, you’ll be able to adjust EXP and Gil values as well as encounter rate, reducing the grind or just letting you power through the story of your favorite titles.
Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series had previously launched on PC and mobile, letting fans get a taste of the “classic” era of Final Fantasy titles- the era before Final Fantasy VII, to be precise.
