Ahead of its release on 6th June 2023, Diablo IV has officially reached gold status. Players can now anticipate to enter Sanctuary once more.
The term “Going Gold” for video games indicate the development on the game’s launch build is finished, which means that live service games have made that important step in shipping to players worldwide. With Diablo IV, players will be joining the fight to save Sanctuary from the Blessed Mother – Lilith, all while battling hordes of demonic monsters on your journey.
“Going gold is a landmark milestone for the incredible Diablo IV team, who have all worked so hard crafting the next-generation installment of this iconic franchise. This is a concrete, meaningful step toward our June 6 launch” said Rod Fergusson, general manager of Diablo.
“Whether players are veterans of the franchise or jumping in for the first time, we can’t wait for everyone to experience the full game: taking part in the incredible storytelling, experimenting with character classes and builds, and exploring what the endgame and the dark world of Sanctuary has to offer.” he continues.

- Play Your Way: Players will have more options than previous games, to create their characters how they want. Choose between the five different character classes, a plethora of cosmetics and skills, and the path that they want to take in the world.
- Open World Gameplay: Players can get to complete a full story campaign, packed with over 120 dungeons, tons of side quests, world bosses, and last lands to explore.
- New Endgame Systems: Players can continue to grow and test their skills in the endgame through massive paragon boards, PVP zones, Nightmare Dungeons and Helltides, along with the Tree of Whispers.
Additionally, the Diablo IV development team has taken the feedback and reviewed gameplay data from the Early Access and Open Beta weekends.
