Acer Malaysia Debuts New Swift 14 and Swift Go Lightweight Laptops

Acer Malaysia today introduced the latest members in its Swift family: the Swift 14 and Swift Go. These are made to be lightweight and stylish for users who are always on the go.

“As we begin the second quarter of 2023, I am very excited to share with you that we will be launching several new devices designed to be sleek, lightweight, and durable, making them perfect for both professional and personal use,” says Johnson Seet, Director of Consumer Business, Product and Marketing of Acer Malaysia.

Acer Swift 14

The Acer Swift 14 boasts a stunning aerospace-grade aluminum unibody chassis, crafted with CNC machining. This process ensures it has a featherlight weight of just 1.2kg making it easy to carry on the go.

The laptop packs up to a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 H-series processor with Intel Iris Xe Graphics that are designed to process dynamic and immersive visuals. Meanwhile, the Intel Evo- verified status means it has proven itself to offer more than 10 hours of battery life, allowing users to work without needing to look for a power socket. It also comes with the latest connectivity features such as the versatile Thunderbolt 4 and the fastest WiFi 6E allowing users to stay connected and productive. While the 1TB SSD storage provides fast document and application loading while the option of 16GB and 8 GB onboard LPDDR5 RAM is offered based on user needs.

The Acer Swift 14 also has great visual clarity with its 14-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) IPS display which is protected by durable Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass that provides scratch resistance and prevents the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria.

Acer Swift Go 

The Acer Swift Go was designed for an “energetic generation” who prefers to work or study on the go. It provides flexibility and convenience to be productive no matter where they are.

The Swift Go comes in a sleek 14.9 mm aluminum chassis that is easy to carry and easily fits into users’ bags. Weighing just 1.25kg with 13 hours of battery life, it further reduces the weight of users’ bags as they can forego carrying a charger around.

Acer Swift Go has a 14-inch FHD IPS display featuring a 90% screen-to-body ratio with ultra-slim side bezels measuring just 4.15mm. Equipped with up to AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor, it comes with up to 16 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB SSD to deliver lightning-fast response time and seamless multitasking capabilities.

Despite its ultra-thin design, the Swift Go 14 is still able to offer a full-fledged selection of ports including USB Type-C, HDMI 2.1, and a MicroSD card reader to enable a seamless and hassle-free way to connect to a wide variety of peripherals.

Both the Acer Swift 14 and Swift Go will be available by the end of April 2023 at the Acer eStore and Acer official stores on Shopee and Lazada, Acer Swift 14, and Swift Go prices start from RM4,299 and RM3,199 respectively.
