Knights of the Zodiac Release Date Moved Forward In Malaysia

The release date for the Saint Seiya movie titled Knights of the Zodiac has been officially rescheduled from its initial June 2023 release to 11 May 2023.

The movie is a Hollywood live-action adaptation of the Saint Seiya Manga series and will be directed by Tomek Baginski who has worked on projects like Netflix’s mini series, The Witcher: Blood Origin and is being produced by Yoshi Ikezawa (Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya TV Series), Joseph Chou (Ultraman TV Series) and Tim Kwok (The Medallion).

The movie stars:

• Famke Janssen (X-Men The Last Stand) as Guraad
• Madison Iseman (Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle) as Sienna
• Diego Tinoco (Teen Wolf) as Nero
• Mark Dacascos (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum) as Mylock
• Nick Stahl (Sin City) as Cassios
• Sean Bean (Lord of The Rings, Game of Thrones) as Alman Kido

The movie synopsis reads as follows:

Based on the international anime sensation, Knights of the Zodiac brings the Saint Seiya saga to the big screen in live-action for the first time. Seiya (Mackenyu), a headstrong street teen, spends his time fighting for cash while he searches for his abducted sister. When one of his fights unwittingly taps into mystical powers he never knew he had, Seiya finds himself thrust into a world of warring saints, ancient magical training and a reincarnated goddess who needs his protection. If he’s to survive, he will need to embrace his destiny and sacrifice everything to take his rightful place among the Knights of the Zodiac.

The movie is being distributed by Toei Company and Sony Pictures Releasing.
