Shooter Game HYENAS Goes Fast With New Sonic Inspired Character

Creative Assembly has announced a new sonic inspired character- Hero-Ki who is a cosplaying specialist to join the playable crew for the shooter game HYENAS.

Hero-Ki made a name for himself back on Earth from his cosplay and charity work. But after being evacuated to the Taint, he turned those skills towards more nefarious pursuits. Hero-Ki is arms himself with a specially modified camera to capture a target’s likeness and cosplay as them. He can use his penchant to disguise himself and evade threats as well as exploiting environments in HYENAS. Only those with the sharpest eyes can detect his ruse and suss him out as an imposter.

This sonic inspired character in HYENAS will be taking his place amongst other Hyenas which include specialists like the uzi-wielding ballerina – Prima, and the foam-gun packing astronaut – Commander Wright, along with more characters that have yet to be revealed.

PC players will get a chance to participate in the next HYENAS alpha test which begins on 25th March at 1:00 AM (GMT+8) over at their website. Additionally, Alex Hunnisett, the live product direct had taken part in the Future Games Show Spring Showcase to present Hero-Ki’s debut along with an exclusive HYENAS gameplay teaser.

The alpha test will let players try their hands on Hero-Ki on both playable Plundership maps, the New York themed “We Took Manhattan”, and the 80s inspired “Greed is Good”. The alpha will be live for ten days and end on 3rd April at 4:00 PM (GMT+8).

HYENAS is a multiplayer, multi-team extraction shooter where you play as misfit anti-heroes competing
against other squads and security forces to steal pop culture memorabilia. The game will be available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC, which can be wishlisted on Steam.
