At the recent Capcom Spotlight, it was confirmed that Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will support network features for online battles and trades as well as include all 499 Patch cards from across the series.
This is a collection that will include all 10 Megaman Battle Network Games.
“Patch cards” are physical cards that required a piece of hardware called the Nintendo e-Reader to load into the game. They were sold at game stores and given away at special events in Japan. All 499 Patch Cards created for Mega Man Battle Network 4 onwards will be included in the collection.
There are many different kinds of cards in this game. Patch Cards can power up Megam Man’s stats, Event Cards which allow you to take on new requests from the Request BBS, and Character Cards that depict NetNavis from the series in the Gallery. You can even get the special Boktai cards that depict characters from Konami’s cult classic GBA series.
Buster Max Mode
The collection will also include a new kind of easy mode called “Buster MAX Mode”. This powers up Mega Man’s buster shots by 100 times. This creates a convenient option for busy players and fans who want to enjoy the story. You can turn the Buster MAX mode on/off from the menu at any time. This mode will also remain turned off in online battles.
Custom PET Pack
A special DLC set called the “customer PET Pack” will be given out as a limited bonus for the physical version of the game or a pre-order bonus for the digital version of the game.
It includes Special Skins that change the appearance of the 3D Mega Man.EXE who appears on the main menu of the Legacy Collection. There are also 4 songs with special arrangements that can be played in the music player
